It was a pleasure to attend the launch of ‘Change Anesthesiology’ by Sukant Ratnakar.

Congratulations, Sukant, on this important achievement!

One message really stood out to me: change is not always about resistance. Sometimes, people are simply uncertain.

People want to understand why change is needed. They want to know how it will affect them. And they want to feel heard.

That is an important lesson for leaders.

Good leadership is about listening, building trust, communicating clearly, and leading by example.

Change is also not a one-time event. It is a process.

We need to try.

We need to listen.

We need to learn.

And sometimes, we need to change the change.
