Saskatoon University-Sutherland
The Saskatoon University-Sutherland constituency is a dynamic and diverse area which covers the city’s east-central region. It begins at Clarence Avenue and Temperance Street, stretching east along Temperance to 8th Street East and Cumberland Avenue, and continuing along the North of 8th Street East to Boychuk Drive. The constituency also includes the Sutherland neighborhood south of the railway tracks.
This area is home to some of Saskatoon’s most important institutions and shopping areas, including the University of Saskatchewan, Canadian Light Source, Global Institute of Food Security, Global Institute of Water Security, Innovation Place, Preston Crossing, the First Nations University of Canada, and the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies (SIIT) as well as the Sutherland shopping district.
Saskatoon University–Sutherland also includes several active community associations such as Varsity View, Grosvenor Park, Greystone Heights, College Park, East College Park and Sutherland.
